Mayors Charity Badminton Comp 2007
Sunday, 29 April 2007MAYOR’S CHARITY BADMINTON COMPETITION 2007 The 13th Annual Badminton Competition for the Sheila Walker Trophy was held at Herringthorpe Leisure Centre, Rotherham on Tuesday evening, 24 April 2007. 30 players competed in the doubles competition and the winners were Louise Ivens and Darren White. The Mayor, Councillor Peter Wootton presented the trophies to the winners and runner ups. The trophies were sponsored by Unison. The event raised £231.78 for the Mayor’s charities.
