Prentis warns Labour not to desert LG workers
Thursday, 30 October 2008Dave Prentis, UNISON General Secretary, warns Labour not to desert local government workers.
At the Annual Labour Party Conference, Mr Prentis reminded Labour to "Remember who you are and what you stand for" and pleaded that they "Treat our members with respect".
He warned that "The return of the Tories to power would be disasterous for our memberrs and the services they deliver".
