RMBC have agreed to pay the national allowance for casual and essential car users and this will be back dated to 1st April 2008.  The rates are as follows:-

Casual Users - First 8,500 miles = 46.9p per mile and 13.6p per mile thereafter.

For employees who have protected Essential Car User status -  Lump sum £849, first 8,500 miles = 36.9p per mile and 13.6p per mile thereafter.
