BRANCH HEALTH & SAFETY OFFICER’S REPORT 2006
How speedily the year has flown and a very busy one again for all Health and Safety Representatives. Problems have been as diverse as ever, ranging from solo working to a single person being responsible for opening/unlocking premises. I personally have had the truly frightening experience of feeling unsafe at work, aster a series of incidents during which staff had been physically threatened by a member of the public. Thankfully this has now been resolved and the situation is being monitored. May I once again take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped me when I have sought advice with problems brought to me by fellow members. Finally may I wish everyone a HAPPY, SAFE AND HEALTH CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR. Hazel SmithBranch Health & Safety Officer
